My Lady Jane: Review Jasleen Kaur, July 7, 2024July 26, 2024 History, as we all know, can sometimes feel a bit dull and dusty. But what if we were to infuse it with a touch of magic? Imagine a blend of history and fantasy where the past intertwines with magic, offering unexpected possibilities—like ordinary people transforming into animals with a touch of mystique. I’m excited to suggest a rom-com series that I recently binge-watched, and it is so absofuckinglutely amazing. I love how the author captures everything. As you know, I am a sucker for romcoms, and this series was so cute. It’s fiction-based, and I adored the intro of the series, which is adapted from a book. It was so much fun to watch! The story is based on history with a twist of fiction. Lady Jane was Queen only for nine days before she got her head chopped off. Lady Jane was the oldest of three sisters and was forced to marry someone with money since her father was no more. She tried to escape, but her mom caught her and tried to kill her maid, who turned into a bird. People who can turn themselves into animals are known as Ethians, and there were orders to kill them. So, it’s a kinda messed up world. She tried to escape twice while visiting the guy she was supposed to marry and met a hot dude on the run, only to be saved by her mother again. And guess what? That guy was the one she was supposed to marry. But there’s a twist: the groom didn’t have money either and was marrying her only for the King’s name. Was the idea of their marriage destined for disaster from the start? However, Jane and the hot dude, her husband, made a deal that once Jane helped him, they would get divorced. Will this merely be a deal or something more? She was chosen to be queen by her cousin, with whom she had the best bond growing up. However, the king wasn’t in good health. The question arises: will she be a good queen, and what about her marriage? To get the answers to these questions, watch MY LADY JANE. It’s a delightful mix of romance, history, and magic that will keep you thoroughly entertained. whatheduck approved status: Streaming Platform- Amazon Prime Video Review
